Display Products has designed and produced this LCD military
display for several airborne systems. Variations of this
audio control and display unit are used on 737 based aircraft.
The
MAP (Mission Audio Panel) is a digital, secure voice,
gui (graphical-user interface) to the aircraft mission
intercommunication system. Operator actions are routed
through a microprocessor to application specific software
with bit (built-in test). The MAP provides crew station
transmit and receive functions to audio channels. The
MAP meets the black line conducted requirements of NSTISSAM
TEMPEST/1-92; the unit provides an isolation of no less
than 100 dB between unclassified and classified channels.
This
MAP can be retrofitted to provide specific control functions;
two VME slots accept customer-specified PWA interface.
This unit can be programmed to accept full external
I/O control.
